The Timeless Race

The Timeless Race is a new, fun event for the GP Run Walk Club. The goal is to accurately predict the amount of time it will take you to run or walk a specific distance - without the benefit of device or advice!

This means NO watches, iPods, smart phones, GPS systems, sundials, or communication with spectators will be allowed! 

The competitor who finishes closest to his or her predicted time WINS! 

Race Location:  Oldtimers Cabin - Evergreen Park
At 6:30pm sharp, the race route and distance (somewhere between 3 and 6 km) along with race instructions will be announced. *Note - the route will not have you in the bush by yourself!  Once you know the route and distance, you write down your predicted time, take off your watch or other timing device, bag it, and give it to Father Time, our race timekeeper! - The race starts at 7pm with the goal to have everyone finished within one hour. Results are announced as soon as the last runner/walker is in. Refreshments will be provided.

Race Fee:  Bring $5 in correct change on race day

Winner will receive a cash prize.
Everyone who races will be entered in a draw for a GPS!
